FAQ

1.  What type of meditation do I practice?

I practice Sufi Garden Meditation. As opposed to Buddhist meditation, this method does not require one to strive to find the tranquillity within oneself. With this form of meditation Good is projected and the Negative is absorbed. The "Garden" (e.g. the Fruit Garden or the Rose Garden) is an ideal place in the metaphysical area of the mind/spirit full of beautiful projections that bestow the beautiful upon us and absorb the bad/evil. One may listen to tranquil music during meditation.

2.  What is my philosophy or outlook?

My outlook is that in life Good ensures that Better ultimately asserts itself; however, this has nothing to do with "bigger, better, faster, more".

3.  What must/should one seek?

The psyche is a gigantic ocean. One can either become one with this ocean, as in the case of enlightenment, or one can abstract for oneself that which one needs. The latter is about finding one’s own light. Finding the Inner Self is similar to achieving minor enlightenment.

4.  What is the relationship between Tantra and spirituality?

Tantra must go hand in hand with spirituality. Tantra (spiritual-sexual practice) cannot function without spirituality. We should bear in mind that sexual sensation is strongest when an ego-related spirit is not present. You should therefore not expect Tantra to lead to sexual fulfilment if you do not take heed of the spiritual rules. It is not something that works like a wonder pill.

5.  What is spiritual practice?

Spiritual practice is meditation and philosophy. Meditation is to bathe oneself in the divine spirit, and philosophy is wisdom.

6.  What are the laws of the mind/spirit?

In brief: not to desire Heaven (relinquish greed and desire), not to fear Hell (dissolve fears).

7.  What is my book about?

See the book’s list of contents.

8.  How can I obtain a signed copy of the book?

Either send me a copy you have bought at a bookstore (with postage so I can send it back to you), or order one directly with me.

9.  Who or what is Hermes Trismegistus?

Hermes Trismegistus is the spirit that on the one hand unites three Greats (e.g. the religions), and on the other hand blocks three centres of light (in Buddhism chakras, in Sufism lataif) so hermetically that we ourselves become Hermes. A new spirit is formed through the hermetic blocking of the centres of light, by which one can either remain where one is or reach the Inner Self once again by freeing these blockages.

Humanity’s greatest goal is to become aware.
